3 Favorite Story Sites

I've always wished that people would post more about good online porn sources. It seems like every few months I stumble onto a fantastic site that's been around for years - and I've never heard of it for some stupid reason.

With that in mind, I thought I'd put together a list of some of my favorite story sites. Maybe you've heard about all of these... but if there's one that's new to you, you're in for a fun time!

HONORABLE MENTIONS

Celebrity Sex Stories Archive - http://www.c-s-s-a.com/?page_id=2
An incredibly thorough archive of stories about an astonishingly wide variety of female celebrities
Pros:
- A wide variety of "types" of stories, they just all feature a celebrity (or two).
- Tags make finding stories easy.
Cons:
- The quality varies greatly. That's true on any user-submitted story site, but as a celebrity-focused site it's especially true. A large number of stories rely on using the celebrities' name over and over, instead of writing a quality filthy story.

Ballbusting Stories by number2 - http://bbstories-number2.blogspot.com
An archive of ballbusting stories reposted by number2 from the former site bbstories.takethepitch.com.
Pros:
- It's an archive 500+ ballbusting/CBT stories. If that's what you're looking for... hey, you can't beat it!
Cons:
- It's a site built on the Blogger platform, with each stories as a separate blog post. But the different stories aren't tagged, so short of googling "site:bbstories-number2.blogspot.com" and then whatever you're looking for, there's no way to find specific stories.

Google Groups - http://groups.google.com/grphp
A searchable archive of more than 700 million Usenet postings from over 20 years.
Pros:
- It's a searchable archive of more than 700 million Usenet postings from over 20 years. There is a crazy amount of stuff.
Cons:
- Spam. So much spam. Remember how bad the spam was in Yahoo Groups back in the day? Yeah, that level of spam.
- 700 million posts, most of which aren't the porn story you want to read. You'll need to work out a serious set of search terms to dig through it all.

THE TOP THREE

Literotica - http://search.literotica.com/search.php?type=story
A large, active, highly organized archive that screens it's user-submitted stories for quality.
Pros:
- Tags and advance search options make finding stories a snap.
- Literotica says they filter uploaded stories for quality and it shows.
Cons:
- Lots of stories, but not tons of fetish stories.

BDSM Library - http://bdsmlibrary.com/stories
An archive of thousands of BDSM stories (duh!) that's updated periodically.
Pros:
- Lots of fetish stories. Like pretty much all of them.
Cons:
- No ability to search for text in the story itself, just the Story Title, Author Name or Synopsis.
- Advanced search allows for very limited search with tags.
- The site sometimes can't handle the submitted formatting.  replace quotation marks, extra returns break up lines and paragraphs, that sort of thing.

Alt.Sex.Stories Text Repository - http://asstr.org/main.html
ASSTR is home to stories by over 1,000 authors, host of the alt.sex.stories.moderated newsgroup, mirror site for nifty.org, and host of several popular erotic literature archives.
Pros:
- Advanced search provides lots of search options.
- There's tons of content, on a shockingly wide variety of topics.
- Search results show you how many time each search term appears in the story
Cons:
- If you're easily offended, be careful what you search for/what stories you click on. I wasn't joking about the wide variety of topics.
- All of those archives that ASSTR hosts means duplicate search results. Lots of them.

  1. I've long been a fan of http://www.mcstories.com/ . Though I believe it might be connected to alt.sex.stories so I'm not sure if you'd count it as a separate site. Either way, it is a fantastic library of mind control themed erotica. Of course not all of the stories are at the same level, but it's not too hard to find an author you like.

    1. Yes, I did see something on the ASSTR mainpage about mcstories.com, so I'd agree they're connected. That's not a site I've checked out before, so I'll have to check it out!

  2. nifty.org mostly gay/lesbian/bisexual

    1. Yep, Nifty's got a good size archive as well. It's mirrored by ASSTR, which I find a little easier to navigate, so that's why Nifty didn't get its own spot on my list.

  3. I love milovana.com, captioned photo stories/webteases. Any similar sites out there?

    1. I'm glad you asked! I'm actually outlining a similar post on my favorite caption sites, and Milovana.com (which is fantastic, btw) will definitely be on the list! The post should be up soon ;)

  6. About the cons on bdsmlibrary.com You can use search on bdsmlibrary.com by using Google.

The simple way without much clicking is to add site:bdsmlibrary.com to the search field, followed by what you're looking for. For more exact searches you can use the minus sign "-" to subtract words from the search and if you wish to search for more than one word and without searching for each word separately then put the words within quote signs.

You'll now have a better site search than most built-in site searches combined.

    1. Yep, for any reader who hasn't ever tried it, you can use the Google "in site:" trick for any website. It's a really useful tool.

If your story site doesn't have a competent search function (or at least tags), it makes the whole process unnecessarily difficult. If I want to read an assworship story on BDSMLibrary, I have to use google and try to guess the words the authors used to describe it. It's painful to have to type "in site:bdsmlibrary.com tongue asshole ass mouth kiss" every time I want to read an assworship story. And even when I do type that, I still get a thousand false positives, because those words are so common in erotic writing.

The google trick is definitely the way to go, but that doesn't let BDSMLibrary off the hook. Their search still needs to be improved.
